This best selling key drop box gives customers a safe place to leave their keys and signed instructions for repairs when dropping off vehicles, before or after hours, at your dealership or auto repair shop. Wide drop slot extends at an angle towards the back of the box, enabling the key envelope to drop to the bottom of the box and stay secure. The clear, self-closing door covers the drop slot and envelope storage area, keeping them protected from the weather, yet visible to customer. Durable, powder coated steel stand up to the weather for long term use. Envelopes sold separately (see below.)

The plexiglass has broken at the attachment points 3 times and you cannot get replacements, so we made our own door. Is there a way to prevent someone from retrieving items that have been dropped through slot?

Thank you for your question on the Wall Mounted Early Bird Key Drop Box. When designing this box, security was a top priority. The drop slot opening is 1” high so it allows just enough space for the envelope with the keys to drop inside and it extends at an angle towards the back of the box, which is 17” deep. This enables the envelopes to drop to the bottom of the 15 ½” high box so that they stay secure.
